Taylor J Furr

Born and raised in the Natural State, (Arkansas) and in later years having washed up on the shores of the Cajun Coast.  (South Louisiana) I have always felt a strong connection to nature and the stories that unfold along the back roads. From the rushing waters of the creek to the wind howling through the woods on chilly winter nights, my surroundings have continually inspired me. Music and film have fueled my creativity, allowing me to tell stories yet to be told, all while nurturing a deep belief that these forms of art resonate profoundly within the soul.

 

I consider myself fortunate to have gained invaluable experience and honed my skills through years of working independently in the music industry, alongside my studies in cinematography at Full Sail University. This journey has refined my ability to craft compelling narratives, as well as my skills in directing, filming, and composing the emotional scores that drive any project.

 

My portfolio reflects a diverse range of work, encompassing everything from emotionally charged melodramatic films to commercial campaigns and how-to video series, with a particular focus on genres such as horror and thriller. I am always eager to expand my collection of works. My passion for film and music burns intensely and continues to guide my life's focus as I navigate the winding journey back to the essence of all that  brings me home
